This project added a second extrusion process and a warehouse, complete with new packaging bins and a bagging line, to Cargill’s existing plant.

The new extrusion process is enclosed in a tilt-up concrete structure measuring 60 feet by 60 feet. The new packaging line and warehouse, which measures 60 feet by 80 feet, was also constructed with tilt-up concrete walls panels and a concrete roof. Finished product from the extruder is transferred to a set of steel packaging bins, which are equipped to feed the bagging system.

This project also included a new grinding system and a pneumatic transfer system for the ground product to the process building. A new mechanical transfer system from Cargill’s existing extrusion building to the new packaging bins was also installed.
