Several construction phases have been completed in the last six months. We were blessed by Mother Nature and were able to get the slipform mill tower completed two days before Christmas.

Terry and his crew have been busy in several areas, placing the distributor and spouting the bin deck. Down in the lower mill area, they have installed all the ingredient bin hoppers and attached all the ingredient screw feeders. They have also installed the 5-ton batch hopper, minor scale, and 5-ton Scott twin ribbon mixer.

We have completed the silo cone hopper in the grinding area and installed the two Roskamp rollermills. At the truck receiving area, all receiving drags have been placed and the four ingredient bucket elevators stacked.

Terry and crew began excavating, forming, and placing the warehouse and receiving building foundation the first part of May. Once that is done, they will begin erecting the metal buildings. The remote truck scale is currently under construction and should be completed by mid-May. We plan to begin start-up of the mill on September 1.
