CF Processing Flash Desolventizing System Addn.

The Flash Desolventizing System (FDS) was added to the original soybean processing plant for CF Processing at Creston, Iowa.

The addition provides CF Processing with the ability to produce 600 tons per day of white soybean flakes, which are an intermediate food product.

The process design was by Krupp of Hamburg, Germany. Younglove’s scope of work included designing and building the structure around the process, installing equipment, furnishing and installing several pieces of transfer equipment, electrical, and mechanical.
