Other upgrades to the facility include a new grain probe and transfer system, a truck receiving staging area for incoming grain trucks, and a complete dust system with pick-up points at the truck receiving hopper and other equipment areas.
Plant upgrades for this facility included a new 14-foot by 80-foot pitless truck scale enclosed with a new truck receiving building with an attached receiving office and MCC room.
Grain is received in a 1,000-bushel gravity hopper to a 20,000-bushel-per-hour L-path conveyor to a 20,000-bushel-per-hour bucket elevator. Grain is transferred and distributed to existing grain storage silos by a 20,000-bushel-per-hour en masse drag conveyor. The upgrades in the basement consisted of installing all new 5,000-bushel-per-hour en masse drag conveyors for reclaim of grain to processing. Grain from the new receiving leg can be diverted by a new 20,000-bushel-per-hour belt conveyor to either an existing steel bin or a new 500,000-bushel corrugated steel bin. Reclaim of grain from the new or existing storage bins is by a new 10,000-bushel-per-hour en masse conveyor.
